Comprehensive Electrical and Communication Infrastructure at an International Standard
The construction of Berth 21 at Ashdod Port was a large-scale international mega-
project, demanding an exceptional level of execution, precision, and engineering
expertise. Our work was carried out under a main contractor in a highly complex,
secure, and operational port environment-requiring not only strict compliance with
specifications, but also the ability to deliver creative, real-time engineering solutions
on site.
The expertise brought to the project by Ami & Igal, particularly in value engineering
and uncompromising execution quality, led to an extraordinary outcome: client
specifications were updated and adapted to match our methods and
standards-clear, tangible proof of professionalism that set a new benchmark for
future works.
Scope of Work and Expertise
The project was executed as an integrated operation, combining civil, engineering,
and electrical disciplines:
Infrastructure Framework Construction
Development of an extensive underground electrical and communication
network, including trench excavation, bedding layers, asphalt milling, and
foundation preparation for lighting systems.
High-Mast Lighting Towers
Design and construction of dedicated lighting towers at heights of 35 and 45
meters, incorporating custom-designed electrical panels engineered in-house
to meet the unique operational demands of the port.
Final Works and Operational Readiness
Completion of asphalt paving, final markings, and traffic signage to ensure
safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the berth.
The Result
A port facility built to global standards.
Through precise execution and proven expertise in managing high-risk, high-
complexity infrastructure projects, we contributed directly to Ashdod Port’s ability to
operate a new, advanced, and fully illuminated berth-ready to accommodate
mega-vessels and support the future of Israel’s maritime trade.
